Quizlet - Feed Your Brain
Quizlet is an educational platform that provides study tools for students all over the world. We transformed traditional learning materials into the app, for students wanting to learn in digestible -bite-sized- portions.
The creative development centered on figuring out how to slice through textbooks and blend molecules, all done practically using stop motion. Pixilated hands introduced another layer of complexity as the animations needed to be performed quickly enough for our actors to hold their hands steady.
The shoot took place in our East London studio over five days with a crew of 20 people, on two stages running in parallel.
Feed Your Brain came to life across 50 campuses through out-of-home posters and in students’ feeds through paid social on YouTube and TikTok. Back to School 2022 was such a success that we made another six videos for 2023. The campaign exceeded targets, increasing sign-ups by 19% over forecast, and use of the app leapfrogged competitor Duolingo amongst our target audience.
The campaign won Gold for Animation in Advertising at the Creativepool Annual.
