We collaborated with R/GA Tokyo on a whimsical Black Friday series for the popular mobile game: Battle Cats.

The films follow a cast of cats that never made it into the game known as the “Out Cats”, showing audition tapes that all end tragically due to each character’s unique shortcoming.

Players were asked to vote for their favourite, with the winning cat being introduced into the game as a playable character.

Art direction was consistent with the game style, using simple graphics and limited movements.

The films hit 4 Million Views
